MP for South Tongu, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, The DCE, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo

The Member of Parliament for South Tongu, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, together with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo, on Monday, October 6, 2025, inspected the ongoing construction of the Mafi-Avedo–Dabala Junction road, which connected Mafi-Wenu, Kadeve, and Kpodzadzi.

This will facilitate regular monitoring and evaluation to track progress, ensure compliance with approved standards, and meet project deadlines through a collaborative working relationship.

The road, which links several farming communities across the South and Central Tongu Districts, has long been of disappointment for residents due to its poor condition, which has negatively affected their movement of goods and economic activities in the area.

The residents from the affected communities commended the political heads for their regular engagement and advocacy, stressing that the completion of the project will ease transportation challenges and boost local development.

The project is at the initial stage of grading and expected to be completed within the approved time.
