The National Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, continued his nationwide “Thank You” tour with a series of stops across the Eastern Region.
The tour kicked off at Ofoase Ayirebi before moving through Abriem and Nkawkaw, then on to Abetifi, and wrapped up at Mpraeso.
Mr Asiedu Nketia is using the tour to personally express gratitude to party members, grassroots supporters, and stakeholders for their dedication and sacrifices during the recent political season.
At each stop, he meets with local executives to rally support, strengthen party structures, and lay out the NDC’s roadmap as it prepares for the next general elections.
Party strategists say the Eastern Region remains a battleground of high political value, making this leg of the tour vital to the NDC’s electoral strategy.
