US President Donald Trump ridiculed Iran’s retaliatory missile attack on a US military base in Qatar as “very weak” in a post on his Truth Social platform.

But he thanked Tehran for giving Washington “early notice” of the missiles fired toward the al-Udeid Air Base in the Qatari capital Doha on Monday.

Trump expressed hope that the attack, which resulted in no causalities, would be Iran’s last, writing that maybe the leadership in Tehran had now “gotten it all out of their ‘system.'”

“Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same.”

Trump said 14 missiles were fired by Iran, 13 of which were “knocked down” while another headed in a “nonthreatening direction.”

“NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done,” he wrote.

Over the weekend, the United States struck three key nuclear sites in Iran in support of Israel.
