Former President John Dramani Mahama, as part of his nationwide thank-you tour, paid a courtesy visit to the Nayiri, Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga, King of the Mamprugu Kingdom, on Friday.
The visit, which took place behind closed doors at the Nayiri Palace in Nalerigu, preceded a planned Thank You Durbar in the area.
It formed part of Mr. Mahama’s outreach in the North East Region, where he is meeting traditional authorities, party faithful, and members of the public to acknowledge their support during the 2024 elections.
While the content of their private discussions was not made public, Mr. Mahama later addressed the durbar, where he "reiterated his appreciation and shared his vision for inclusive national development."
