The Minister for Works, Housing, and Water Resources, Mr Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, along with his Deputy, Madam Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, has engaged with Heads of Agencies and Departments under the Ministry to discuss the draft Sector Medium Term Development Plan (SMTDP).

This strategic blueprint aims to guide the resetting of the Works, Housing, and Water Sub-Sectors of the economy in the next four years.

The meeting held on Wednesday follows a prior meeting by the minister with Agency Heads to ascertain current operations relative to the achievement of the core mandate, coupled with evolving development issues that require urgent attention.

Mr Adjei expressed his sincere gratitude to the team led by the Chief Director, Rev. Stephen Yaw Osei, for the timely preparation of the SMTDP document.

The SMTDP, drafted following the guidelines from the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), is poised to play a crucial role in fostering a sustainable and inclusive built environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of citizens.
