Adenta Kumi was taken into custody by the NIB and faced charges for publishing false news, as reported by his legal representatives.
Alfred Ababio Kumi, widely recognized as Adenta Kumi, has been freed from the National Investigations Bureau (NIB).
Mr. Kumi was apprehended on Friday by NIB agents, a move that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has vehemently criticized, alleging that the NDC government is employing intimidation against opposition leaders.
His attorney, Clement Opoku Gyamfi, mentioned that his client was accused of disseminating false news. In a video that circulated online, Mr. Kumi is shown alongside Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, and other party members, all singing a party anthem.

This is why when you get them, you need to show them some ginger and pepper for at least 48 hours. If he slept in BNI cells for 48 hours before he was granted bail, I am not sure he would be getting the effrontery to be singing party anthem. He has to be picked up again.
