Three fire engines have been deployed to combat a blaze that broke out in the production area of Flour Mills Ghana Limited, located in Tema.
According to a Facebook update from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) on May 21, 2025, the fire has been contained to the fifth floor of the facility, which was previously known as the GHAPOHA yard.
The GNFS reported that intensive firefighting efforts are ongoing to fully extinguish the flames. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, as investigations are currently underway.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported at the time of this publication.
