Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament for Ketu North, has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of education and sports in the constituency through two key interventions.

In collaboration with the Centre for Best Grade Assessment, Hon. Agbana has introduced a Special Mock Examination for candidates preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The initiative is designed to better equip students for their final exams and enhance overall academic performance across the constituency.

In a separate gesture of support, the MP’s office facilitated the participation of the district’s sports team in the Inter-District Sports Festival held in Hohoe. A total of 110 student-athletes and 16 officials received logistical and financial assistance, including GHS 20,000 and 50 mattresses, to support their travel and accommodation. Hon. Agbana also pledged continued support as the games progress.

He extended his best wishes to both the BECE candidates and the athletes, while expressing heartfelt appreciation to teachers in the district for their dedication and tireless efforts in shaping the future of the youth.

These initiatives highlight Hon. Agbana’s proactive approach to constituency development, with a strong focus on improving educational outcomes and promoting youth engagement through sports.
