The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a 24-hour weather forecast for Thursday, May 15, 2025, predicting a combination of sunshine, thunderstorms, and hazy conditions across the country.
Early morning hours are expected to bring patches of mist and fog over mountainous and forested areas.
There is a 40% chance of thunderstorms, with or without rain, along coastal and rural locations such as Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Axim, and Aflao.
Most parts of Ghana will experience sunny spells alternating with periods of cloudiness throughout the day.
GMet also warns of isolated thunderstorms, with or without rainfall, expected to affect the northern regions, transitional zones, and central belt from late afternoon into the evening.
