MP donates laptops to Krachi East Municipal Health Directorate

The Member of Parliament for Krachi East, Hon. Nelson Kofi Djabab, has donated 10 brand-new laptop computers to the Municipal Health Directorate to enhance healthcare delivery in the municipality.

The donation was made during a working visit to the Directorate on Monday, April 5, 2025.

The MP, who was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Sarfo Nketia, and other officials, emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to improve healthcare services. The Municipal Director of Health warmly received the laptops, describing the donation as timely and promising that the Directorate would make good use of them.

MP's Visit to Other Institutions
The MP's visit was not limited to the Health Directorate. He also paid courtesy calls to the Regional Headquarters of the Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Police Service, and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

At the Ghana National Fire Service, Hon. Nelson Kofi Djabab assured the firefighters of his unwavering support to boost their activities in the region. The Municipal Commander of the Fire Service made a passionate appeal to the MP and MCE to release a government structure near the High Court for use as the Regional Command. Both leaders agreed to facilitate the release of the structure.

During his visit to ECG, the MP urged the management and staff to exhibit professionalism and be proactive in addressing the current power situation in the municipality. He described the frequent power outages as a menace to society and pleaded with the company to intervene and end the outages.

The MP's donation and visits demonstrate his commitment to supporting key institutions in the municipality and improving the lives of his constituents.
