The Gallant Cadres of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have issued a strongly worded statement criticizing evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, popularly known as Agradaa, over what they describe as a calculated attempt to exploit a private act of kindness from GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi for personal publicity.
In the statement, signed by the group’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Richard E. A. Sarpong—popularly known as Father Casford—the Cadres demanded that Agradaa return the money gifted to her by Mr. Gyamfi, arguing that she is not in need and acted in bad faith by publicizing the encounter.
"Agradaa's trap and occultism have worked against Sammy Gyamfi. It must be stated that it's pure evil to attempt to gain popularity while seeking needed attention from an act of kindness," the statement read.
The group accused Agradaa of intentionally recording her interaction with Mr. Gyamfi, claiming that she was guided by sinister motives.
They condemned her for capitalizing on a private moment and turning it into a public spectacle, thereby causing unnecessary backlash for the NDC's National Communications Officer.
"To Agradaa, we say your actions were unwarranted and unacceptable. Using your platform to manipulate and deceive the public is not only uncharitable but an act of cowardice," the Cadres stated.
While defending Sammy Gyamfi’s intentions, the Cadres insisted that the controversy was entirely fueled by Agradaa’s opportunistic behavior, which they say must be called out and condemned.
The group concluded their statement by reaffirming their support for Mr. Gyamfi and called on the public to recognize the true motives behind Agradaa’s actions.

NPP's Agradaa Must Return Sammy Gyamfi's Money: She's not needy.
Is NPP's Agradaa a needy person to warrant financial assistance from anyone in Ghana? Clearly, Agradaa's trap and occultism have worked against Sammy Gyamfi. It must be stated that it's pure evil in attempting to gain popularity while seeking needed attention from an act of kindness. Hon. Sammy Gyamfi has not committed any financial loss to the state or been involved in any corrupt act. It is clear that Agradaa did what she did for a purpose, that is, to embarrass Sammy Gyamfi and the NDC government. Otherwise, why would Osobaa Agradaa video a simple kind gesture by Sammy and quickly release same on social media? Same Agradaa who campaigned seriously against the NDC and even "prophesied" that Bawumia was going to win the 2024 elections. But you see, she is not God, so God spoke, and every fake pastor or the so-called "men and women of God" were silenced.
To the Gallant Cadres of NDC, it takes a courageous and humble person to say sorry. Sammy has done the needful and duly apologised. We, however strongly believe that the National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress has learnt his lessons.
Agradaaa must be stopped in her tracks to curtail the usage of evil charms and manipulations on government officials ostensibly to favour NPP.
The Gallant Cadres of NDC want to address an earlier incident involving Sammy Gyamfi, Acting CEO of GHANA GOLDBOD, and a self-proclaimed "woman of God" known as Agradaa. At a funeral, Agradaa approached Sammy Gyamfi, harassing him for a picture and money. Out of kindness, he gave her some dollars, unaware that her aide was filming the interaction. The video was later shared on social media to create disaffection for Sammy Gyamfi.
The questions are :
1. What did Sammy do wrong if only the said video is what people are talking about?
2. Is it wrong to dash people money?
3. Did Sammy brandish the money around?
The NDC Communication Officer and the GoldBod CEO did no wrong.
Why?
1. Every public officer who attends a social gathering is likely to face situations like this - People would want to take pictures with you and there after, expect some assistance.
It happens to Presidents, Ministers, MPs, CEOs etc. Some officers may even throw the cash into the crowd in order to drift attention to make way for mobility. He did no wrong.
From assessing the video, Sammy could have wished not to dash the money at that particular moment but the persistence from Agradaa compelled him to. It can be observed from the counting of the money inside the car, to it being handed over to Agradaa, isn't something Mr. Gyemfi meant for public consumption. The action of the woman left the GoldBod CEO with no option than to yield. Honorable 'sɛ wo di ne nyina mame aaa, na ayɛ d3n', to wit 'what will happen if you give me all'.
It was Agradaa's show off that has caused Mr. Gyemfi all this embarrassing spectacle. Agradaa aka sika gari was the one who wanted to flex with the money and not Mr. Gyemfi.
Maybe, what is raised the consternation on social media is the currency of the money. This, the Cadres believe happened just maybe Mr. Gyemfi didn't have enough cedis on him. It's rather unfortunate that, his benevolent act has caused him much embarrassment. Yes! He could have drove off without Mercy but this is at variance with nature - generous and believes in giving.
The Gallant Cadres of NDC want to assure the public that Sammy Gyamfi's actions were not meant to spite the grassroots or undermine the party's values. His kind gesture was misinterpreted and misrepresented by Agradaa's intentions. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused and assure the public that it does not reflect Sammy Gyamfi's character or that of the NDC.
To Agradaa, we say your actions were unwarranted and unacceptable. Using your platform to manipulate and deceive the public is not only uncharitable but an act of cowardice.
