The Office of the Attorney General has formally charged the former Executive Director of the National Signal Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu-Boahene, his wife Angela Adjei-Boateng, and two others over the alleged theft of GH₵49.1 million from the state.
The four accused — including Mildred Donkor and Advantage Solutions Limited — are facing 10 counts involving conspiracy to commit a crime, stealing, abuse of public office for personal gain, money laundering, and causing financial loss to the state.
According to court documents, Mr. Adu-Boahene is alleged to have dishonestly appropriated GH₵27.1 million in February 2020, claiming it was for the procurement of a cyber defence system from ISC Holdings Limited. A month later, he is said to have misappropriated another GH₵21 million under the same pretext.
His wife, Angela Adjei-Boateng, is accused of aiding and abetting the alleged abuse of office and benefiting privately from the total sum of GH₵49.1 million.
Together with Donkor and Advantage Solutions, the couple is also accused of laundering the entire amount, which prosecutors say belonged to the state.
The case is part of broader efforts by the state to recover misappropriated public funds and ensure accountability among public officials.

A thief going to prosecute his fellow thieves. Saayooooooo. How can a thief be made an Attorney General? Ghana is indeed a Banana republic where bribe takers and double salary politicians are made Ministers.
