This morning under the shower.
I (Hamburg, Germany):" The pink chocolate from Turkey yesterday...was funny and too sweet."
My wife Alberta (Ashanti, Ghana): "Yes, it was not good at all."
The water was falling onto our bodies covered in soap. Two sponges were rubbing off the night.
I: "But what I don't understand is the money is in making chocolate not in growing the cocoa beans. On authority, I can say that Turkey doesn't grow cocoa but in Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Nigeria. But these countries don't export chocolates to us. I simply don't get it."
Alberta: "We all can not be the same. Not be equal. We can't do everything. Therefore gave you white people the brain and us blacks the material."
I: "Funny...very strange."
Alberta turned off the water taking out her large towel: "We in Ghana have gold but don't know how to make wedding rings. We buy from you people."
I: "But then we should be fair to pay the Africans the right price for their materials."
Alberta: "Did I not say gave you the brain and us only the materials? We all can not be equal otherwise would have created us differently."
I: "One day Africa will have no materials any longer."
Alberta: "Then you people will have a bigger problem."
I: "Oh...like serious?"
Alberta: "Do not worry you still have your brains."
Dressing up I was not feeling fine. Africa: how do you feel today?
