Raymond Archer, a seasoned investigative journalist, has been named the Acting Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
His appointment follows the reassignment of Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah, the former head of EOCO, who is now set to serve as a Technical Advisor at the National Security Secretariat.
Archer steps into his new role at a time when EOCO remains central to Ghana’s efforts in tackling financial crimes and organised criminal networks.
His background in investigative journalism is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the agency’s operations and strategic direction.
