President John Dramani Mahama is set to officially open the second edition of the Kwahu Business Forum today, Saturday, April 19, at the Mpraeso Social Centre in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region.
The Kwahu Business Forum is a flagship initiative introduced by President Mahama during his tenure as part of efforts to stimulate economic growth and support Ghana’s burgeoning entrepreneurial landscape.
First launched in 2024, the forum seeks to create a vibrant platform for networking, idea-sharing, and investment opportunities, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which constitute the backbone of the country’s economy.
The second edition of the forum brings together entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, and business experts to explore innovative strategies for boosting enterprise development in the Kwahu area and across the country. Discussions are expected to center on access to finance, business formalization, market linkages, digital transformation, and policies that create a more enabling environment for SMEs.
By convening stakeholders under one roof, the Kwahu Business Forum is fast becoming a key fixture in Ghana’s business calendar. President Mahama’s leadership in spearheading the initiative reflects his broader commitment to economic inclusion and job creation, particularly through the empowerment of local businesses.
