Why Is The NDC Government Uncomfortable And Intolerable With The Same Dose Of Medicine They Gave To The Npp Administration?

Why Is The NDC Government Uncomfortable And Intolerable With The Same Dose Of Medicine They Gave To The Npp Administration?

In fact, the hypocrites and some of the sycophants of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, and so-called neutrals are uneasy and throwing tantrums.

When Mr. Ablakwa, in opposition, was praised by the same people for putting out certain pertinent and delicate pieces of information to the public domain, they followed that bandwagon blindly.

He went to the extreme of revealing the travels of Former President Nana Addo out simply for political power, and he never minded the security concerns of the President.

Mr. Ablakwa went further in his desperation to put out sensitive documents of some state institutions, and he was hailed with all manner of adjectives used to describe him.

In short, Mr. Ablakwa and the NDC's mission was to get political power without any recourse to the security and image of the Nation.

After he succeeds with the help of NDC fanatics, power is in their hands, and things have changed, they are uneasy and throwing tantrums with insults.

What has changed? As the saying goes, "If you throw a ball to a wall, it will come back to you." This is the situation the NDC government and its members are being subjected to.

Barely three months in office, the Mahama-led administration has been entangled with lots of varied unfortunate news that doesn't speak well of the Country.

Some of these scandals include Cocaine, drugs, money laundering, dumsor, missing ECG containers, missing Excavators, and the dismissal of Ghanaian youth who were engaged by the previous government.

President Mahama, after his inauguration through the Chief of Staff, issued a directive to some of the institutions to dismiss and withdraw the appointments of Ghanaian youth who were engaged by Former President Nana Addo.

This was a topical issue in the media space where some sections of Ghanaians were in total dismay for such a directive to be put out to terminate the appointments of the teeming youth.

The government Communication team mounted a spirited defense simply to score a cheap political point which didn't make sense looking at the level of inhumane treatment meted out to the youth.

Some even went the extra mile to sue the government for such a dehumanizing treatment of the youth who even campaigned vigorously for the NDC and President Mahama.

Fast forward to this issue of dismissal letters flying like birds in the country, the issue of ECG containers being missing was in the public domain for discussion.

The Minister for Energy, after assumption of duty, gave varied accounts of the number of ECG containers missing at the Port. It was a back-and-forth, especially with the exact number of containers missing.

The minister gave different numbers of containers both in the Parliament and in the media space where he was engaged on this sensitive matter of concern to the Nation.

As we all thought this would have been a lesson to the NDC administration led by President Mahama, another damning issue of cocaine and drugs was also in the media for discussion.

This became a matter of great concern to Ghanaians since Ghana has not been in the news due to cocaine and drug dealings for the past years. But why under President Mahama and the NDC? This begs for answers from the government Communication.

As the difficulties of the government continue, the Mahama-led administration is faced with the dumsor across the nook and cranny of the Country. These power outages continue unabated without any serious and radical measures being adopted to end the devastating effects of the dumsor.

In effect, some of their members took to their social media handles to express their outbursts and total disappointment with the handling of the electricity challenges in the Country.

On a more serious note, it thus appears that the government is in a state of denial, especially with some of the pertinent matters confronting Ghanaians with arrogance and display of power with impunity.

Importantly, the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Hon. Rev. Ntim Fordjour, who doubled as a ranking member of the Defense and Interior committee, raised the alarm on two suspicious flights that landed in the Country.

He questioned why such two suspicious flights could land, and one even spent five days in Ghana, where lots of questions were raised, particularly on the issue of drugs and money laundering, etc.

The respected member of Parliament questioned why the government and other relevant security agencies were mute and never updated Ghanaians on the 12 containers filled with gold and currencies confiscated by the National Security in February.

Unfortunately, the government spokesperson, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in his disingenuous response, couldn't deny the arrival of the two suspicious flights in Ghana. He also failed to give more details about why such two suspicious flights landed in Ghana.

Rev Ntim Fordjour, in his pursuit of accountability and clarity from the government, has been met with resistance, and the government has released its attack dogs to smear or paint him black instead of sticking to the matter of national concern.

Indeed, the government yesterday, through the Spokesperson Hon Felix Kwakye Ofosu and Sammy Gyamfi, called for the arrest of Hon. Rev Ntim Fordjour for demanding explanations from the relevant security agencies.

In all honesty, why all of a sudden the government Communication and their footsoldiers are uncomfortable for someone who demands simple answers to put the issue to rest for an amicable resolution?

Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu went far after stating that Hon. Rev Ntim Fordjour should be used as an example to insult the person of the Ranking member of the Defense and Interior Committee.

Largely, instead of the government, Communication to respond and also call for independent investigation, stooped so low to rain plain insults on Hon. Rev Ntim Fordjour. This is unbecoming of the government led by President Mahama and the NDC.

Why all these intimidating tactics to silence people from critiquing the government? Was it what the President called for? This is undemocratic, to say the least.

Not quite long ago in opposition, the likes of Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Sammy Gyamfi, and Ablakwa were on Former President Nana Addo with all manner of press conferences to dent the image of the NPP-led government.

Interestingly, why are they trying to gag anyone who speaks truth to power? Under President Nana Addo, Sammy Gyamfi, Sam George, Ablakwa and Felix were masters of press conferences simply because of power and nothing else.

Today, they can't withstand just a quarter of the dose of medicine they gave to President Nana Addo and the NPP within three months in office with all sorts of serious and damning scandals.

We need a full-blown investigation into the matter raised by Hon Rev Ntim Fordjour and not the intolerant, power-drunk posturing displayed by the government Communication and footsoldiers of the National Democratic Congress, NDC.

We live in a democratic dispensation and no amount of intimidation and barbaric attacks on the people will stop us from speaking about certain pertinent matters confronting the development of the Nation.

In my concluding remarks, we are solidly behind Hon. Rev Ntim Fordjour and no amount of intimidation will deter us from holding the feet of government to the fire of accountability.

Ghana doesn't belong to the President and the NDC. Protecting the image of the Country is of the essence to us, and Ghana can't be used as the transit point for cocaine and other drugs hubs.

Shalom!
God bless our homeland Ghana!
Trust wisely!
