Police Constable Elizabeth Alonsi has been detained and interdicted after allegedly pouring hot water on a fellow female officer during a dispute.
According to a police statement, the suspect is currently in custody and will face both internal disciplinary proceedings and legal action.
Meanwhile, the victim sustained burns to her face and back but is in stable condition and receiving medical treatment.
