Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine has revealed details of substantial properties and assets allegedly acquired by Mr. Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), and his wife, Angela Adjei-Boateng.

These properties, suspected to have been purchased using proceeds from questionable activities, span key locations in Ghana and abroad.

Investigators have identified several properties linked to the couple, including:

  • No. 2 Stream Part Drive, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra – A deposit of $1,000,000 (valued at GHS15,000,000) was made for this estate, with relevant deposit slips and receipts traced.
  • No. 6 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra – A deposit of $500,000 was recorded.
  • No. 7 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA – A total of $200,000 was deposited for this property.
  • No. 8 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA – An initial deposit of $97,815 was made, with authorities suspecting additional cash payments to complete the purchase.
  • No. 9 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra – A deposit of $270,000 was recorded.
  • No. 10 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra – The deposit amount for this property stands at $150,000.
  • 27 houses in Oyarifa – Owned by Vertex Properties, a company linked to Mr. Adu-Boahene. Each house is valued at $295,000.
  • Two properties in London – Investigators have tracked these assets, though further details are yet to be disclosed.

During a press briefing in Accra on Monday, Dr. Ayine highlighted that the financial outlay for these acquisitions strongly aligns with the suspect’s alleged misconduct while serving as NSB Director.

“The proceeds from the suspects’ activities were used to buy significant landed properties and other assets of considerable value both in Ghana and elsewhere,” he stated.

Authorities continue to investigate financial transactions and ownership structures connected to Mr. Adu-Boahene and his wife, with the goal of recovering misappropriated funds and ensuring accountability.

That's the good work Akufo Addo was talking about that he would not handover power to John Mahama to destroy. This is only the tip of the iceberg, Ghanaians should be ready for the most shocking ones. I am now a free man and proud of my articles that made me an enemy among writers.
