In a joint operation by investigators from the Attorney-General’s Department and the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), Madam Angela Adjei-Boateng and another suspect have been arrested in connection with an ongoing financial crimes investigation.
Madam Adjei-Boateng, the wife of former National Signals Bureau Director-General, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, was apprehended in Accra at approximately 12 noon on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Her arrest comes less than 24 hours after her husband was taken into custody at Kotoka International Airport on Thursday, March 20, 2025, around 9 PM.
According to classfmonline report, the arrests are part of a broader probe into organized financial crimes, with authorities working to recover significant sums of money allegedly lost to the state.
While specific charges have not yet been disclosed, investigations are expected to intensify as law enforcement agencies continue to examine the extent of financial irregularities linked to the suspects.
