The Acting Chief Executive of the Shippers Authority, Prof. Ransford Gyampo, has pledged to prevent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from returning to power, vowing to keep them in perpetual opposition.
According to Prof. Gyampo, he intends to block all fraudulent deals and contracts associated with the party, ensuring that they remain far from governance.
He criticized the NPP's ability to govern, asserting that they are unfit to lead the country and should remain in opposition.
“Activate all mouth cameras! We would multi-task in serving Ghana by cutting all their fraudulent deals and contracts, and in making sure that those who know nothing about how to govern a country never gets close to the corridors of power,” he declared.
Prof. Gyampo also responded to accusations that he contributed to the NPP’s defeat in the 2024 elections, dismissing criticisms and asserting his resolve to keep them out of power permanently.
“They say I made them lose the 2024 elections, so they will keep attacking me. If I am that powerful to kick them out of power, then I would be more powerful in keeping them in opposition, now that they don’t have power. I’m unattackable,” he added.
His comments have since sparked debate, with political observers weighing in on the influence of public figures in shaping Ghana’s political landscape.

Even though I am not a political analyst, I don't even fear that the NPP will take power in the next thirty years. In addition to their newfound wisdom, Ghanaians are resolved to never again allow the NPP to devastate the nation through state capture and financial embezzling. Reading about...
