The Office of the President has officially announced the transfer of COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah to the Ministry of the Interior, where she will take on the role of Technical Advisor to the Interior Minister, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak.
This directive, issued by President John Dramani Mahama, is effective immediately. In his formal communication, the President expressed appreciation for COP Addo-Danquah’s commitment, professionalism, and the significant contributions she has made to the nation. He conveyed his confidence in her ability to effectively serve Ghana in this new position.
The reassignment is intended to facilitate a smooth transition, with COP Addo-Danquah expected to work closely with relevant authorities to ensure she assumes her new duties without any complications. The President also extended his best wishes as she embarks on this new phase of her career.
The directive was communicated by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President, and was shared with key government officials, including the Vice President, the Chief of Staff, and the Minister of the Interior.
This reassignment comes on the heels of COP Addo-Danquah’s recent appointment as the Director-General of Research & Planning at the Ghana Police Service by Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno.
