I Will Believe Mahama Is A Clearing Agent Or, The NDC The Same As The NPP, If They Fail To Jail Ken Ofori-Atta

The accusation that the current Ghanaian president, John Dramani Mahama, is a clearing agent, and both the NPP and the NDC, are the same, has been a popular topic on social media for some time. In response to these public criticisms, I have stood up for Mahama and the NDC on the basis of their moral values and efforts in the provision of developmental projects. However, what will persuade me that the allegation that he is a clearing agent is accurate is the failure to imprison Ken Ofori-Atta.

I can state with no remorse that the former finance minister is a professional criminal who hides his criminal activity by wearing white shirts to evade detection, much like a murderer hides his trail to evade capture. The country's thriving economy, industries, and investments collapsed as a result of the Mafioso widespread corruption and money laundering operations run by Ken Ofori-Atta and his relative, former President Akufo Addo, his vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia and many NPP politicians.

In total, I wrote more than twenty articles about Ofori-Atta, including "Ken Ofori-Atta Is Corrupt, He Uses White Shirts To Deceive Ghanaians.” "Cecilia Dapaah's $1 million theft Scandal, Kills Ken Ofori-Atta's Debt-restructuring Scheme," "Ken Ofori-Atta Was Appointed The Finance Minister To Make Corruption Easier For Akufo Addo," and "Let Akufo Addo Or Ken Ofori-Atta Curse Me To Death, If I Have Wrongly Accused Them Of Being Thieves." Why is Ken Ofori-Atta free today to sue someone?

The NDC has its shortcomings, just like everyone else; therefore, the NPP leveraged some of the shortcomings of the current administration to its advantage, misleading the populace to destroy the nation in process. The question is, why does the NDC, now in power, still allow individuals like Ofori-Atta, who should have been in prison by now in any serious country, to continue to bully and threaten them with judicial matters? Ghanaians are not happy and expecting better governance from the NDC.

It is beyond depravity for Ken Ofori-Atta to have committed financial crimes out of avarice. Eight financial institutions could not be purposefully shut down to give his Data Bank a monopoly, and the "Agyapadie" form of governance, which he actively supported, targeted and destroyed non-NPP companies, severely harming the country's economy, businesses, and investments. Ofori-Atta stole money, especially from the IMF and COVID-19, in addition to taking commissions from overseas funds.

Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has been formally designated a fugitive by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and a suspect in four high-profile corruption investigations: the strategic contract between Ghana Limited and GRA, the termination of the contracts with ECG and Beijing Technology Limited, the National Cathedral Project, the procurement of ambulances, and the payments made to GRA's Tax Refund Account. Ken Ofori-Atta has no respect for Ghanaians and the government.

Criminals and scammers frequently believe they are extremely clever and that no one can outsmart them; Ken Ofori-Atta shares this belief. The NDC government's biggest task or challenge, in my opinion, is not only to boost the economy and provide job for the youth, but also to imprison all corrupt Ghanaian politicians who have embezzled public funds and stolen state property. This is among the reasons why Ghanaians overwhelmingly supported the NDC and rejected the NPP.

The onus is now on the NDC to deny the claims that the president is neither a clearing agent nor they are not the same as the NPP. To preserve the government's morals in subsequent elections, Mahama should never allow the people that voted for him to regret choosing the NDC. If Ken Ofori-Atta does not show up in Ghana on June 2nd, as scheduled, the OSP office should issue an arrest warrant for the Interpol to arrest him.
