The General Overseer of Open Arms Ministry, St. Sark, has launched a scathing attack on Pastor Mensa Otabil, accusing him of being a false clergyman and an active member of an occult group.
His remarks follow a statement made by Pastor Otabil at a recent church event, where he claimed that "about 95 per cent of people who call themselves prophets in Ghana are quacks."
Expanding on his criticism, St. Sark further alleged that the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) is a “quack teacher of the Gospel” who derives the strength of his teachings from books on occultism.
"Blending that with the Gospel of Christ, philosophical teachings and motivational messages is his modus operandi," he told the media.
St. Sark, known for his controversial statements, made these allegations during a media engagement at his church auditorium on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
According to St. Sark, Otabil’s teachings do not align with the Holy Bible.
"All your expositions are false and a twist of the scripture. You are quack. You better back off from the teachings of the prophetic.
"I know the genesis of your ministry. I will never accept that you are a teacher of the Gospel. You are not a Bible teacher," St. Sark fired.
