The NPP have adopted a strategy of using the floor of parliament to play their dirty games, it is high time they move away from the denial mode and accept Ghanaians have rejected them big time. Thinking compelling nominees of the National Democratic Congress to apologize for some statements they made against Nana Akufo Addo and the New patriotic Party would not change the fact that Ghanaians rejected them for their evil deeds.
Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Mr Sam Dzata George showed bravery and called the bluff of Mr Afenyo Markin and his unpatriotic few. They stood firm to their conviction and refused the intimidation to force an apology for statements they made against Nana Akufo Addo and the New Patriotic Party.
Mr Afenyo Markin the minority leader knowing he was not going get an apology from the young gallant ministerial nominees he marshalled his members on the appointment committee to partially boycott the vetting process to avoid further embarrassment.
Sadly the leadership of the National Democratic Congress failed to see through the cunning gimmicks of the NPP and have allowed Afenyo Markin the field day to use parliament to spew all forms statements, even to extent of inciting the majority caucus against the President Mahama. The magnanimity of the NDC leadership has given an undue advantage to the NPP to tease and incite the NDC back benchers as being rendered redundant.
The arrogant and destructive posture of the NPP so far appears they feel insulated from criminal prosecution. Is it not strange sick Mr Kenneth Ofori Atta former minister for finance would have the energy to litigate with trespassers into his house, but too frail to account for his stewardship as the former minister for finance. This gimmick explains why they have the impetus to openly criticized President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress for not having the capacity to prosecute their criminal appointees, hence their reckless destructive conducts.
Instead of the NPP being remorseful for the pain they inflicted on the good people of Ghana, rather chose to insult the sensibility of the citizenry with lies and pomposity.
The New Patriotic Party knew the level of damage they have done to Ghana's economy, and knowing very well it would be difficult for the new government to pulled through within its tenure of four years, and the electorates may not tolerate the performance of the NDC and would vote them out.
This shows how evil the New Patriotic Party are, and only thinking of the next elections and careless about the plight of the citizenry that is the reason why whenever the new administration complain about their misrule, they shamelessly chides them to fix it.
The gymnastics being display by the New Patriotic Party renders Ghanaian politics to a funny circus. Listening to most of the NPP propagandists it appears they are in a state of hallucination. Dr Mohammad Amin Adam former finance minister who was unable to settle government indebtedness to WAEC would have the courage to criticize the new government of dumsor, dumsor a burden they deliberately left to make President John Mahama administration unpopular.
It is very shameful people like Dr Gideon Boako, Dr Tia Kabiru Mahama and their likes at the office of former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who contributed to the disastrous failure of the economic Wizkid having the audacity to criticize a government barely three months to perform magic they were unable to do in eight years. The hypocrisy must stop, Mr Oppong Nkrumah is gaining notoriety of becoming a liar, how could he defend the three empty shell agenda 111 hospitals as commissioned. The sad spectacle was that the contractors were not happy with the ruse perpetuated on the good people of those three districts.
Mr Oppong Nkrumah kindly do yourself a favor by telling us how many doctors and nurses are working in those hospitals and how many patients have received treatment, and should confirm if the hospitals are operational as at this day.?
It is highly unconscionable for these young politicians who are destroying their political future for an old man who had a chequered political life. A president who robbed his contemporaries of their investment despite their plea, picketing and demonstration did not touched his heart.
A president that dumped National Builders Corps. (NABCO) beneficiaries after using them to achieved his second term as president, and he looked on unconcerned when the beneficiaries of his flagship Free Senior High School children fed with expired moshomosho rice.
A president that prioritize his kinsmen over and above the majority of the electorates who made him president. A president that deliberately pulled about one million Ghanaians into poverty based on their reckless borrowing which eventually forced them to restructured Ghana's debts that caused pain and misery to a lot the citizens.
A president Ghanaians declared damning verdict on his presidency, what legacies has he left for anyone would want to defend. It is very surprising some members of the Minority Caucus who are defending the legacy of former President Nana Akufo Addo who ignored their plea to change Ken Ofori Atta his finance minister and failed to listen to them and that culminated into the disastrous defeat of the New Patriotic Party.
The former President Nana Akufo Addo legacy and credibility has been totally bruised and anyone who want to ride on that tattered legacy do so at his or her own risk.
The liberated Ghanaian electorates are well aware of the pain and anguish the former President Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP government foisted on the citizenry and it would definitely influence the decision to make come 2028 general elections.
