The Deputy Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), George Krobea Asante, has called on members of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) to be at the forefront of the party’s efforts to reclaim power in the next general elections.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of TESCON executives at Ghana Telecom University, Mr. Krobea Asante highlighted the crucial role of student activists in shaping the party’s future.

He urged TESCON members across various campuses to be proactive in communicating the NPP’s vision. He assured them of his unwavering support in providing training and mentorship for those willing to take up leadership roles.

He further charged the newly inducted executives to embark on an aggressive membership drive and establish a comprehensive database of TESCON members.

This, he explained, would enhance coordination and strategic planning to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilization efforts.

Mr. Krobea Asante also emphasized the long-term benefits of active participation in TESCON, describing it as a stepping stone to leadership within the NPP.

He cited prominent figures such as Hon. Asenso Boakye, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Hon. Abu Jinapor, Hon. Sammy Awuku, Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), and Hon. Stephen Amoah as examples of former TESCON members who have risen to key positions within the party and government.

In his closing remarks, he supported the program with an undisclosed amount and expressed gratitude to all participants.

He urged them to stay committed to the cause, stressing that their dedication and hard work would be instrumental in securing victory for the NPP.
