The shock from 2024 election is still fresh; we’ve not recovered – Nana Akomea

Former Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea has indicated that the NPP has not recovered from the shock of the 2024 elections.

According to him, it is still early days, and the shock is quite fresh in their memory.

He, however, continues to believe that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s policies espoused during the 2024 electioneering campaign are some of the best policies.

“Not quite; it is still early; we haven’t recovered. For me, my regret is that I still think that Dr Bawumia’s policies that he was going to introduce were some of the best policies I’ve seen,” he said.

When asked why the people of Ghana did not buy the policies, he said “What the party has done is put in place a committee of very learned people and we have asked them to find out in a scientific way the key reasons why we lost”.
