Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has lambasted members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in various institutions who furnished the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee with information.
The committee chaired by North Tongu Member of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa officially completed its work on Monday, February 10 and presented findings to President John Dramani Mahama.
The committee looked into alleged state looting and land-grabbing issues that happened during the NPP’s eight years in office.
During the information gathering, the ORAL Committee is reported to have received tip-offs from some members of the NPP.
According to Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, such people only did so out of envy and 'skin-pain'.
In a post on his Facebook page, Mr. Nkansah slammed such persons, describing them as 'bomboclats'.
“NPP People in various institutions who sent nonfa konkonsa to the NDC in the name of Oral, out of envy. Onyame ahu mo nyinaa. Bomboclats,” the former NEIP boss noted.
Meanwhile, President John Dramani Mahama has handed over the findings of the ORAL Committee to the Attorney General for immediate investigation.
The ORAL committee projects that the state can recover over 20billion dollars if 32 cases in its report are successfully pursued.
