A fire outbreak which occurred at a warehouse in the Tema Industrial Area, in the Greater Accra Region on Monday, February 10, has been contained by personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to prevent further spread.
The fire, which reportedly started 4pm has destroyed essential items stored in the facility. However, the exact cause of the blaze remains unknown at this time.
Channel One News sources confirm that no casualties have been recorded, while five fire tenders were deployed by the GNFS in Tema to bring the situation under control and minimize further damage.
Authorities are yet to determine the extent of the losses and the cause of the fire.
