Priest Calvin Robinson shows Hitler salute at National Pro-Life Summit.

The Nazi joke by a priest from Michigan shocks more than just the faithful. Calvin Robinson, head of the Anglican Catholic Church of St Paul in the US state of Michigan, was kicked out of the church by his superiors.

The man of God, who is loyal to Trump, imitated Musk's Hitler salute at a televised event of pro-life abortion opponents in Washington, D.C. on 25 January.

According to his own statement, the priest wanted to use the fascist hand signal to mock all the people who were upset about Elon Musk's Nazi tribute after Donald Trump's oath of office. He concluded his own speech by quoting the end of the Tesla boss's speech. ‘My heart goes out to you!’

And then, like Musk, raised his left arm diagonally upwards from his chest. The gesture was broadcast live to the world, to the horror of the spiritual leaders of the Anglican Catholic Church in America. It has now been announced on their website that Robinson's priest's licence has been revoked and that he will never again be allowed to serve as rector of St Paul's or any other affiliated parish.

The reason
Anyone who imitates the Nazi salute, even if it is only meant as a joke or to expose the enemy, trivializes the horror of the Holocaust. And they dishonour the memory of all those who sacrificed themselves in the fight against the perpetrators of the Holocaust. The statement ended with. ‘Such actions are harmful, polarizing and contrary to all Christian principles.’

The completely unreasonable Robinson defended himself on his Facebook page. ‘To be clear, I am not a Nazi.’ With the gesture, he only wanted to mock the hysterical leftists who called Elon Musk a Nazi, even though he was clearly just throwing his heart out to his listeners. The British-born ex-priest blames ‘my typically dry, British sense of humour’ and added. No, the gesture was not an admission that I am a member of the National Socialist Party.
