Press Release Regional Communication Officers And Deputies Congratulate Comrade Malik Basintale (deputy National Communication Officer)
FRI, 24 JAN 2025

The 16 Regional Communication Officers and their Deputies, 276 constituency communication officers and their deputies, in collaboration with the National, Regional, and Constituency Communication Bureaus of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), gladly congratulate Comrade MALIK BASINTALE, the Deputy National Communication Officer, on his appointment as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the YOUTH EMPLOYMENT AGENCY.

Comrade Malik Basintale was an active TEIN executive in his school days and quickly integrated himself into constituency politics in Tamale.

The vibrant, energetic young man rose to become the Deputy Regional Communication Officer of the party in 2018, and when the erstwhile NPP government carved the Savanna Region from the Northern Region, he became the Regional Communication Officer of the new region. In 2022, the party's national delegates voted massively for him as the Deputy National Communication Officer. He served the party in that capacity and made a magnificent impact on our election success.

We express our profound gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, for recognizing and entrusting such a portfolio to a competent and loyal party member. This appointment is another testament to the President’s commitment to rewarding dedicated and competent party faithfuls within the party.

The grassroots of the party are undoubtedly elated by this opportunity afforded to Comrade Malik.

We believe our comrade will transform the Youth Employment Agency to suit His Excellency President Mahama's Resetting Agenda for Ghana.

Signed:
RICHARD KIRK-MENSAH
Dean of Regional Communication Officers and Deputies
