Bawumia has taught us lesson in leadership from his early concession — Mr. Kobina Agyebeng

A member of the Central Regional Communication Directorate of the NPP, Mr. Stephen Kobina Agyebeng has extolled former Vice President Alhaji Dr Muhamudu Bawumia for his exemplary leadership and excellence.

Speaking as a panellist on a political show on Golden Star FM, a local radio station based in Agona Swedru recently, Mr. Stephen Kobina Agyebeng attributed the relatively peaceful atmosphere in Ghana after the December 7 general elections to Alhaji Dr Muhamudu Bawumia early concession to defeat.

"Dr. Bawumia distinguished himself once again as a man of peace. His virtuous acts of conceding early in a high-stakes election ensured that peace prevailed in the aftermath of the December 7 general elections.

"For the first time in history, the incoming President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama dedicated part of his inaugural speech to commend Dr. Bawumia who was his fierce opponent for his honourable act," he stated.

The Central Regional Communication Member of the NPP further emphasized that Alhaji Dr Muhamudu Bawumia's decision to prioritize the country's progress over personal desires has earned him a place in the hearts of many.

"This selfless act should be a lesson for everyone aspiring to lead in whatever position. It should be emulated by all and sundry," Mr. Kobina Agyebeng noted.
