The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) paid a courtesy visit to the Czech Republic Ambassador, H.E. Pavel Bilek.

The delegation, led by AGI President Dr. Kwesi H. Ayim Darke, included key executive members, and the visit aimed to explore collaboration opportunities between the two countries and to plan a trip to Prague.

The discussions centered on several critical areas of collaboration. One major focus was empowering Ghanaian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially in agriculture, through bridge financing and technology transfer.

The AGI also advocated for supporting women in agribusiness by ensuring they have access to necessary tools, technology, and markets.

Another key point was the potential for Ghanaian IT firms to offer remote services to European and Czech companies. Additionally, both parties explored leveraging Czech expertise, especially in irrigation systems, to boost local farming practices.

The visit marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana and the Czech Republic, with AGI poised to play a key role in fostering cooperation and driving economic growth.
