Parliament has given its approval to three ministerial nominees: Haruna Iddrisu as Minister for Education, Kwame Governs Agbodza as Minister for Roads and Highways, and Eric Opoku as Minister for Food and Agriculture.
The nominees underwent a rigorous vetting process by the Appointments Committee, which assessed their qualifications, experience, and proposed strategies for addressing challenges in their respective ministries. After thorough scrutiny, the committee unanimously recommended their confirmation.
During a plenary session chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah, Members of Parliament engaged in extensive discussions on the nominees’ credentials and policy plans. Following the debates, a vote was conducted, leading to the approval of all three candidates.
This parliamentary endorsement paves the way for Haruna Iddrisu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, and Eric Opoku to assume their ministerial duties, where they are expected to play pivotal roles in advancing the government’s development priorities.
