
Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has pledged to work diligently to protect the environment and harness Ghana’s natural resources for sustainable development.
In a social media post on Tuesday, January 21, Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah expressed gratitude for his nomination by President John Dramani Mahama, vowing to serve with integrity and dedication.
“I am committed to serving our dear nation with dedication, integrity, and hard work to promote the efficient use of our natural resources, protecting our environment, and creating opportunities for economic growth and development,” he stated.
He further assured Ghanaians of his determination to fulfill the ministry’s mandate, emphasizing that God would be his anchor throughout his tenure.
“I extend my deepest gratitude to President Mahama for the trust and confidence reposed in me to steer this vital ministry. I am determined to work diligently to fulfill the mandate of the ministry for the greater benefit of our beloved country,” said the Ellembele MP.
Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah’s nomination is part of President Mahama’s third batch of ministerial appointments, which was submitted to Parliament on Tuesday for approval.
He joins a lineup of other nominees, including Samuel Nartey George for the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, and Kofi Iddie Adams for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
