Haruna Iddrisu, the former Minority Leader in Parliament, has shared that he harbors no bitterness regarding his replacement in the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Caucus.
In a candid reflection on his time in office, Iddrisu conveyed a sense of pride in his leadership role, stating that his decisions were always driven by the collective interest and vision of the NDC party. He called his tenure a "rare privilege" and underscored his dedication to serving the party and the nation.
Iddrisu emphasized his unwavering commitment to the principles of the NDC, reaffirming that he remains devoted to the party's ideals and continues to support its growth and success moving forward.
“There were some decisions that you’re guided collectively by the party, and then we take a decision. But as I said, I never, never changed being changed as a Minority Leader. I don't carry guilt in my heart; I had my opportunity.
“I went out there to campaign for the NDC because I was convinced that, in terms of the management of the economy, I wasn't satisfied with how the NPP managed the country. I don't carry guilt in my heart. I had the rare opportunity to serve,” he emphasised.
