Nsawam Adoagyiri Member of Parliament (MP), Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has offered words of encouragement to Haruna Iddrisu, the Education Minister-designate, during his vetting by the Appointment Committee of Parliament on Monday, January 20.
Annoh-Dompreh, addressing Iddrisu, acknowledged the high expectations surrounding his nomination and expressed unwavering support from the Minority NPP.
“Expectations out there are very high. Those of us in the minority, we love you. We want to see you succeed,” he said, urging Iddrisu to proceed cautiously in his new role.
He further noted the personal respect he holds for Iddrisu, recalling the memories they share and the contributions the nominee made to his career.
“We all know. I personally know what you have done in terms of your contribution to where I am today,” Annoh-Dompreh remarked, emphasizing Iddrisu’s competence.
“Just be careful. As we move forward, we are praying for you. Please be careful. Expectations out there are very high,” the Minority Chief Whip said.
