The Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin has earned the name ‘Prophet’ on social media after his prediction of persons to be appointed in the government of President John Dramani Mahama came to pass.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu Constituency last week boldly stated in Parliament that he knows where some of the Majority MPs will be working when President John Dramani Mahama names his Ministers.
He noted that Armah Kofi Buah will be named the Minister in charge of Lands and Natural Resources.
Afenyo-Markin also predicted that Kwame Agordzo and Ahmed Ibrahim would be named Ministers for Roads and Local Government respectively.
“Those of us in opposition we know more things than those of you in government. So if you ask me I can tell you all of you where you are going but you don’t know. Armah Kofi Boah is going to lands….Kwame Agbodza is going to Roads and Highways. We know Ahmed Ibrahim is going to Local Government and a lot of you will remain at the backbench,” Afenyo-Markin said.
Today, two of the predictions have come to pass as announced in the second batch of ministerial nominations submitted by President John Dramani Mahama to Parliament through the Speaker of the House.
Only the prediction on Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah is outstanding.
