NPP #Election2024: Stop the blame game and assess your defeat – Edem Agbana to NPP
SAT, 14 DEC 2024

Edem Agbana, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ketu North, has urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to cease the blame game and instead focus on a thorough assessment of their defeat.

Agbana’s comments come as the NPP grapples with the aftermath of the elections, where they faced significant losses.

He highlighted that the issue of voter apathy was not unique to the NPP but affected all political parties, including his own.

Speaking on Point Blank on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Friday, Agbana emphasised the need for the NPP to return to the drawing board and analyse the factors that led to their loss.

“I think that if I have any advice to give my friends in the NPP, they need to get back to the drawing board and do some deep assessment of what happened, what caused their defeat rather than being on the fence and still engaging in blame game and blaming apathy and all of that because the apathy did not affect only the NPP, it affected all of us,” Agbana stated.
