The Founder of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has clarified that he has no interest in holding any office or committee position in the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, Mr. Cudjoe, who has been a vocal critic of the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, expressed satisfaction with his current role at IMANI.

He stated unequivocally, “Please seriously, I am happy with my work with IMANI. I do not need any appointment to any office or committee in the next government.”

Despite his stance on not seeking an official role, Franklin Cudjoe pledged to remain actively engaged in supporting the administration of President-Elect John Dramani Mahama.

He disclosed plans to share a detailed brief addressing a critical sector that will influence immediate revenue decisions and the fulfilment of a manifesto promise.

Beyond offering policy advice, the IMANI founder urged the President-elect to exercise caution in making appointments to key sectors.

Highlighting concerns about undue influence, he remarked, “I will be urging him to be very careful with certain appointments to critical sectors, and he should be wary of moneybags with questionable sources of wealth who will be lobbying for certain positions in order to perpetuate their trade as they did under Nana Akufo-Addo.”
