It would have been better for the Monarchical and the Dynastic Presidential Candidate of Ghana’s main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to have listed before his audience the number of development projects left behind by the John “The Gentle Giant” Agyekum-Kufuor-led government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which the tandem Mills-Mahama regimes completed, instead of lamely and deceitfully telling his Asante Regional Audiences that most of the projects being presently belatedly rushed into completion by the lame-duck Akufo-Addo Administration would actually be completed or finished by a highly unlikely next Mahama government, knowing fully well that since January 2009, Candidate Mahama and his then newly elected immediate boss, the now-late President John Evans Atta-Mills, had publicly announced to the entire nation that completing the then recently exited President Agyekum-Kufuor’s “Asante Projects” was absolutely not on the list of the national development agenda of priority projects of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) - (See “Election 2024: They're rushing projects in Ashanti to secure last-minute votes – Mahama slams NPP” Modernghana.com 12/5/24).

It may very well be a “419 Scheme,” as the man who promised to create an administrative region for his own Gonja people, among several others, in an Akufo-Addo-copycat fashion but, predictably, did absolutely nothing and the Gonjas had to wait for his immediate successor, to wit, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to create the Savannah Region. Among our people, there is a saying that “Charity often begins at home.” The predictable truth of the matter is that Candidate John “I Have No Classmates In Ghana” Dramani Mahama did not even have a “419 Scheme” for his own Gonja clansmen and women, much less for the rest of the nation, especially his southern-descended predominantly Akan-Kabonga neighbors against whom he has not minced any words or missed any prime opportunity to disparage as an innately and a congenitally ungrateful people.

The Bole-Bamboi native, from the Akufo-Addo created Savannah Region, has absolutely “no classmates” in Ghana, indeed. You see, the unarguable fact of the matter is that Kwame Gonja simply has absolutely no “no class” at all, as New Yorkers like to say. His demeanor and public behavioral conduct is completely beneath contempt. Which makes one wonder whether he was, indeed, raised in the kind of civilized culture and polished familial background from which most bona fide Ghanaian citizens take unbounded pride.

Very likely, it was his indescribably uncouth public behavior, ill-bred social mannerisms and repulsive political rhetoric that compelled the renowned Ghanaian musician by the name of The Great Ampong to compose his recent electioneering-campaign song titled “Emmoa Asem Nkoaa,” loosely translated as “Sheer Animal Talk,” which touched off needless brouhaha over whether a seemingly morally incorrigible 66-year-old Candidate Mahama did not deserve to be properly put in his place and class in civilized Ghanaian society.

It is also downright criminally insulting for the candidate who is viscerally averse to “doing Asante projects” to be lecturing ethnic Asantes about how the very political party whose low-premium National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), implemented by a bona fide ethnic Asante former President for the benefit of all Ghanaian citizens, without exception, he royally bankrupted by allegedly diverting most of its officially budgeted funding into his epically failed 2016 Presidential-Election Campaign, about not having supposedly been dealt with fairly by Ghana’s most progressive Fourth-Republican government, to wit, the social-intervention oriented New Patriotic Party. What chutzpah! What Meshugas! as Yiddish-speaking American Jews are wont to say.

This, of course, pathetically goes to show what a morally degenerate and an intellectually deflated and confused man whose most tolerant and constructive response as the late President Jeremiah “Jerry” John Rawlings-appointed Communications Minister was to order the criminal flooding of the premises of newspapers whose owners and publishers would not toe the faux-socialist and state-capturing populist agenda of the National Democratic Congress with raw and untreated human waste. Now, we may never know the number and the cost of deadly diseases that the infamous “Shit-Bomber” must have caused Ghanaian citizens and taxpayers by such criminal weaponizing of human waste as a coercive apparatus or instrument of the State against its own citizens.

In short, Candidate Mahama is a pathologically and a clinically unconscionable political criminal and a human rights violator who deserves to be promptly and rigorously prosecuted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for heinous crimes against Ghanaian humanity. Instead, we have this miscreant and Apex Court Terrorist desperately fighting to be sent back to Jubilee House, so that he and his unofficial boss, at least in the quite authoritative opinion of Ghana’s Imperial Parliamentary Speaker, Alban S K Bagbin, to wit, Mr. Stanley Xoese Dogbe, could resume their routine ritual of beating up and torturing and traumatizing Ghanaian journalists once again. God forbid!

Kwame, "a highly unlikely next Mahama government"? You should wash your hands for typing/writing such nonsense. If you are asleep in your hovel in New York now, you are going to wake up tomorrow to learn that Mahama is forming the next government of Ghana. Not that I particularly cared for Mahama to come back but your Uncle Addo Dee and the rest of your governing relatives made it easy for Mahama to return to power after waiting for eight years. Those Ofori-Atta boys and girls were the...
