Election 2024: Your vote is key to a better future, take action on Saturday – Mahama to Ghanaians

Flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has urged Ghanaians to seize the opportunity for transformative change by voting in the upcoming general elections on Saturday, 7 December.

Addressing thousands of enthusiastic supporters at the NDC’s final rally at Zurak Park, Madina on Thursday, 5 December, Mr. Mahama described the election as a defining moment in Ghana’s history, emphasising the power of the vote to shape the nation’s future.

“Your vote is your voice, your vote is your power, and your vote is your key to unlocking a better future for the people of Ghana.

“I urge you to take action on Saturday. This is not a decision we can leave for another time,” Mr. Mahama stated.

Highlighting the urgency of the polls, Mr. Mahama appealed to citizens to take responsibility for addressing the country’s pressing challenges, warning against deferring change to future elections.

“This is not a decision we can leave for another election or another generation. This is our moment, and the time is now to bring about the change we need in order to reset Ghana,” he added.
