Former National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Sammi Awuku has urged voters to choose the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to ensure continuity, emphasizing that the 2024 elections are about hope, not hopelessness.

Speaking briefly during the party’s final rally in Legon, Accra, Sammi Awuku called on the electorate to vote for the NPP, asserting that the upcoming elections represent a choice between hope and despair, rather than minor policies like John Mahama’s “nkoko-kitiki” initiative.

“These elections are about hope, not hopelessness, and should not be reduced to small policies like John Mahama’s nkoko-kitiki,” he said.

Awuku emphasized that it is not the time for second chances, but rather a moment for action, led by the NPP.

He pointed to significant achievements under the party’s leadership, such as the introduction of free maternal healthcare by the Kufour administration, which allowed many to access free deliveries.

He added that those same children are now benefiting from the Free Senior High School (SHS) program, also under an NPP government.

“Dr. Bawumia will do even more,” he declared, highlighting the NPP’s track record of impactful policies.

The NPP’s rally in the Greater Accra Region marks the conclusion of several months of Dr. Bawumia’s Bold Solutions campaign.
