John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has vowed to deliver a transformative and inclusive government if elected president.
Speaking at the party’s final rally ahead of the December 7 elections, Mahama assured his supporters of his dedication to rebuilding the nation and restoring faith in leadership.
He emphasized that political power should not be sought for its own sake but should be used to benefit the country.
“I want to remind you once again that there is no use fighting for political power if we would come and commit the same atrocities they have inflicted on the people of Ghana these last 8 years. Ghanaians will put their trust in us, but we must prove ourselves worthy of that trust. The change starts with you! And I promise you, we will work together,” he stated.
With the elections just two days away, Mahama urged voters to make their choice count, pledging, “I encourage you to vote for John Mahama, and I will make you all proud of the Ghana we will build together.”
