John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has issued a strong warning against any efforts to manipulate the upcoming elections, reaffirming his party's commitment to protecting the integrity of the polls.
Addressing supporters at the NDC's final rally at Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, December 5, 2024, Mahama called on electoral authorities, security services, and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to uphold democratic principles and ensure a transparent and fair election process.
“I want to caution the NPP administration, the security services and the entire body of people who are in charge of supervising this election. I urge you to resist the nefarious actions that some people are planning.
“To the people of Ghana, the National Democratic Congress will go to the polling station with you. Together, we will police and courageously protect our votes and resist all attempts to steal them,” he stated.
