Election 2024: Mahama coming back as President with a solid majority – Asiedu Nketia

NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has emphasised that the party is confident its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama will become president at the end of the 2024 general election.

According to him, the NDC will win this year’s polls with a solid majority in Parliament.

“The message is clear, let them [the NPP] get down and face the consequences of their own action for the past eight years. Whether we hold a rally or we don’t hold a rally the people of Ghana have decided and the decision is that John Dramani Mahama is the next president of Ghana,” Johnson Asiedu Nketia said at the NDC’s final campaign rally on Thursday, December 5.

The NDC National Chairman continued, “John Dramani Mahama is coming back as President with a solid majority. I am convinced that we are returning back into office with a very strong majority in Parliament.”

In his address to the large gathering, Johnson Asiedu Nketia urged all voters to go to the polls on Saturday and vote massively for John Dramani Mahama and all parliamentary candidates of the NDC.

He said the time has come to vote the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) out of government for a chance to reset the country and set it on a path of economic growth and development to make the lives of Ghanaians better.
