Press Release We Will Resist Any Attempt to rig Afigya Kwabre South Presidential and Parliamentary Elections
TUE, 26 NOV 2024

As the 2024 elections draw nearer, the youth and people of Afigya Kwabre South stand united in their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the integrity of our democracy. We have noted with grave concerns, the activities of certain unscrupulous persons who seek to undermine the will of the people. One such individual is Chairman Odeneho Kweku Appiah, the former constituency chairman and the immediate past Ashanti regional chairmanship aspirant of the New Patriotic Party.

We are by this release, issuing a strong warning to Odeneho Kweku Appiah and his cohorts from embarking on any sinister agenda aimed at marring the sanctity of the 2024 elections.

The vibrant and energetic youth of NDC in the Afigya Kwabre South will not sit unconcerned nor tolerate any attempt at rigging or manipulating the will of the people.

We are alert by the actions being undertaken to sway the electoral processes in favor of the NPP, and we will stand firm against any such efforts. The people of Afigya Kwabre South have the right to determine their own future, free from any interference or undemocratic influence. We are determined to protect that right, and should the NPP or any of its assigns attempt to subvert the electoral processes, we will rise to oppose them with all the strength and determination at our disposal.

The power of democracy lies with the people, and we will not allow anyone to trample upon that sacred right. We call on all political parties and their leaders to respect the principles of democracy, and to allow the people of Afigya Kwabre South to freely and fairly choose their representatives without any fear or favor, fraud or manipulation.

We are keenly observing and we are ready to stand up for our rights now and ever to resist any attempt to subvert the will of the people.
