Super Raffle Ghana: New game of chance launched to cushion Ghanaians, support charity

With Ghanaian comic actor Richard Kweku Asante, known widely as Kalybos as its brand ambassador, a groundbreaking initiative, Super Raffle Ghana, was launched on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Accra.

This innovative lottery system aims to bring life-changing opportunities to Ghanaians while driving charitable projects across the country.

Super Raffle Ghana, which offers a simple and accessible game of chance, enables participants to win incredible prizes, including cash, home electronics, and a grand prize of a Geely Coolray car.

Beyond the winnings, the initiative is committed to supporting education, healthcare, and community development through its charitable contributions.

Making life better for Ghanaians:
Speaking in an interview with ModernGhana News on the sidelines, Director and Team Lead, Mr. Derrick Ayisi Addo, highlighted the dual-purpose mission of Super Raffle Ghana.

“Our main idea is to give back to the Ghanaian people,” he stated. “There are lots of people who find it difficult to afford basic amenities and electronics for their homes. This raffle provides an opportunity for them to access these items while also contributing to a broader cause.”

The raffle allows Ghanaians aged 18 and above to purchase tickets for 20 cedis each on all networks by dialing *246*7#.

The ticket grants entry into both the minor and major draws, scheduled for December 21, 2024, and January 12, 2025, respectively.

Acknowledging skepticism about raffles in Ghana, Mr. Addo assured participants of the initiative’s integrity.

“We understand the perception that raffles in Ghana are not legitimate businesses. However, we’re here to change that narrative. With over 40 years of family expertise in the lottery industry, we’ve built Super Raffle Ghana on transparency and fairness,” he explained.

“The unique selling point is that our mode of winning is very simple and instant. If you win cash, we send it to you immediately. If you win appliances or the car, the transfer process is straightforward. For instance, the car will be collected directly from the showroom,” added Mr. Addo.
