The Mahama Model of National Security Is Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger-Eye Predators

Feature Article The Mahama Model of National Security Is Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger-Eye Predators
MON, 11 NOV 2024

When you add it all up, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held the democratic reins of governance in Ghana’s Fourth-Republican Dispensation for half of the 32 years of its duration, thus far; plus, the preceding 10 years that the leadership of the latter institutional establishment, led by the late Chairman Jeremiah “Jerry” John Rawlings, hermetically occupied the affairs of our nation as the bloodthirsty “revolutionary” junta of the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC).

Yet, it had to take the serendipitous and the politically auspicious accession of the now-lame-duck President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to construct a state-of-the-art residential quarters for the members of the Ghana Police Service (GPS) in the Dome-Kwabenya municipality of the Greater-Accra Metropolitan Area. Instead, as substantive President of Ghana, Mr. John “I Have No Classmates in Ghana” Dramani Mahama decided to deliberately divert the officially earmarked budgetary allocation for the administrative efficiency of the Ghana Police Service to just one Mickey Mouse private detective agency called Tiger-Eye Private Investigators Company, suavely abbreviated as Tiger-Eye PI, owned and operated by Mr. Anas Aremeyaw Anas, with the singular self-serving objective of thoroughly destabilizing the Judicial Establishment of our beloved Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana.

The Serial and the Dynastic Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress also at the time publicly and pontifically claimed that the entirety of the personnel of the Ghana Police Service could not be trusted to manage the security affairs of the country. To-date, the infamous “Shit-Bombing” Communications Minister of the Presidency of the late Flt-Lt. (Ret) Rawlings has yet to be invited to appear before a plenary session, or even a Select Committee, of Parliament to account for the exact amounts of taxpayer money that he illegally invested in the judiciary-targeted sting operations that Kwame Gonja - as the former President is also popularly known - rigged up with the Anas Aremeyaw Anas Gang that culminated in the total and the irreparable damage and the destruction of the hard-earned image and the reputations of dozens of conscientious and hardworking Ghanaian magistrates, high and superior court judges, largely based on the real or the perceived ideological leanings or the orientations of the targeted victims.

Consequently, when Mr. Mahama says that he intends to ensure that our “national security services and other related agencies would be properly resourced and motivated to fulfill their mandates effectively,” you can almost rest assured that the former Arch-Lieutenant to the widely presumed “Palace Assassinated” President John Evans Atta-Mills simply does not know what is talking about or promising, because Candidate Mahama has absolutely no readily available or existent performance track record to credibly back up the claim of him being capable of “properly resourcing” our national security agencies.

Rather, the now-Candidate Mahama is widely known to have fully gone on public record to have contended that he decided to hire the Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Gang because the entire squad and membership of the Ghana Police Service was too rankly corrupt and completely bereft of any moiety of credibility to be counted upon or trusted to productively assist in the hectic official corruption fight. It would shortly and predictably come to light that, in fact, the real objective for sidelining the personnel of the Ghana Police Service, in particular the staff of the Criminal Investigations Division/Department of the Ghana Police Service, was fundamentally just so that the Ghanaian people could be easily and cheaply blindsided by the wantonly predatory and the inexorably kleptocratic shenanigans of the double-salary drawing Mahama cabinet and executive appointees.

By the way, did it really surprise any of our readers that the recently foiled Parliamentary Coup-D'etat would be led in orchestration by Mr. Haruna Iddrisu, the National Democratic Congress-sponsored Member of Parliament for the Tamale-South Constituency, and the very same person who, as the Mahama-appointed Employment and Labor Minister, at the behest of his boss, literally lifted some $72 million (USD) from the vaults of the state-owned and operated Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), comprised of the life-savings of retired Ghanaian civil and public servants, as well as actively engaged self-employed citizens and private entrepreneurs? Very likely, the stolen public dole in the wallets and the bank accounts of these professional thieves and career politicians is running dangerously low and needs to be promptly replenished, or these political pickpockets and scumbags would soon find themselves butt-naked and running wild in the streets and the alleyways of our towns and cities.

He may logically and obviously not want to hear this but the fact of the matter is that, the national security climate and atmosphere under the present lame-duck Akufo-Addo Presidency is light years better than what prevailed under the terror-charged climate of the previous ragtag Mahama regime that could not even solve the localized epidemic of the common cholera in the country in 2014. What with the Johnson Asiedu-Nketia and the John Dramani Mahama and the Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo-instigated global embarrassment that was the Kumasi Kidnapping of the Three White, Canadian Women NGO Volunteers? Yes, what of the random abduction and the grisly murders of the Missing Takoradi Girls? Add to the foregoing, the point-blank shooting death of the Mahama-appointed Mr. Peter Kenyenso and the early morning bedroom assassination of Mr. Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu? The list goes on and on and on.

For anybody who wants to fully appreciate the widely alleged uneasy relationship between the leadership of the National Democratic Congress and the Supreme Court of Ghana, the evidence is right in front of them in the forecourt of the Apex Court Building in Ghana’s capital of Accra. Truth be told blunt and upfront: Kwame Gonja is the Bad and the Rancid Joke that absolutely No Nation of Serious Citizens and Humans would pray to an “Inscrutable and Sagacious Divine Providence” to place at the very Helm of Their National Affairs (See “Resolving Bawku conflict will be one of my priorities— Mahama assures” Modernghana.com 11/1/24).
