Supreme Head of Gbese Sonmenaa donates school trunks, mattresses, cash to new SHS students

The Supreme Head of Gbese, Sonmenaa Nii Doku III, has donated school trunks, mattresses, and cash to students from the Gamashie area who have recently gained admission to Senior High School (SHS).

This support aims to ease the financial burden on parents, especially during these challenging times, by covering essential items from the school prospectus.

In presenting the items, Nii Doku III, who also serves as the Sempe Muslim Akwashongtse, urged the new SHS students to commit fully to their studies and make their families and the GaDangbe community proud. He emphasized that education is a powerful tool for development and encouraged the students to aspire to careers in fields such as medicine, accounting, law, and engineering, assuring them that with dedication, they could achieve their dreams.

He reminded the students that their parents have worked hard to provide them with the resources they need for school, and now it’s up to them to focus on their studies to become valuable contributors to society.

Nii Doku III expressed his belief that the progress of the GaDangbe people rests on the shoulders of these students and encouraged them to strive for excellence, helping to elevate their community.

He also called on parents to continue investing in their children’s education, despite any challenges they may face, as it will ultimately benefit them and their children in the future. “Regardless of any hardship, do not deny your children access to education,” he urged.

Nii Doku III concluded by wishing the students success in this new chapter of their lives.

Parents expressed their gratitude to Nii Doku III for his generous support and dedication to the education and development of the GaDangbe community, calling for continued encouragement to inspire the youth to value their education.
