NPP brought me a brown envelope to lie about Mahama, but I refused — Prophet Nigel Gaisie 

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, has claimed some influential members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) recently approached him, seeking his cooperation to tarnish the image of former President John Dramani Mahama.

According to Prophet Gaisie, he was offered a “brown envelope” to make false statements about Mahama.

He indicated that he turned down the request.

In a statement, Prophet Gaisie said, “The Vice President came to me through Fred Oware. I respect the man so much, so I won’t say a lot of things, but they brought a brown envelope for me to say things that are not true about John Mahama, and I declined.”

He went on to express his disappointment with the NPP, accusing the party of previously denigrating and attacking him.

“The NPP is one party that has denigrated and attacked me in several ways but now that they want power they are coming to see me,” he stated.

Prophet Gaisie emphasized that he rejected the offer because it was against his principles, saying “I rejected what they brought because that is not where the Lord is.”

Prophet Gaisie concluded by stating that he feels the current state of the NPP is not the party he knew before, indicating that the NPP has become unattractive.
